How to Become a Christian

If you are on our website and reading this right now, we believe it is not by accident, but that you were drawn here by the One who Loves you and desires to have a relationship with you.

In your search for the Truth, you may have heard that there are many roads that lead to God. But that is not the truth! There is in fact only one way…and that way is through Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son.

The Bible says in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That means that God gave His Son for YOU. This is the truth! To become a Christian, you must first believe in Jesus Christ. In Acts chapter 16:31, it says “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” Believing is an act of Faith. The Bible says in Romans 10:17 that “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” The Bible is the Word of God.

In Romans 10:9-10 the Bible says that “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

So, by faith, if you believe that Jesus, came into this world and lived a sinless life, was nailed to a cross by men, and raised up from the dead by God the Father for the payment of our sins, yours and mine, then you will be saved. Being saved means turning away from, or repenting, of our old way of life…sin….and turning to God through Jesus Christ. You will come into relationship with God and have the promise of eternal life with Him.

If you want to make this decision, then pray the following prayer from your heart……….

“Dear God….I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I am a sinner, but I repent right now, and ask you, Jesus, to come into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus was sent to die for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Jesus, please come into my heart right now and be the Lord of my life. I give you my life. Thank you Father, for saving me! Amen!”

If you prayed that prayer….you are now a Child of God! Welcome to the family! You can now have a personal relationship with Him!

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things are passed away, behold, all things have become new.”
You have a brand new life in Christ!
